How To Install Debian with Partition

Before we Install our control panel that created by Masterweb we should install Debian linux on device server so i make this How To Install Debian with Partition.

here step to install Debian linux server in conditional we’ve 2 physic HDD (1 for System(500 Gb), 1 for Backup on Server(500 Gb))

Ok, follow step from debian to install as like standart and then make partition like this

/          -> 30 Gb      -> (with ext4 format)

/tmp  -> 4 Gb         -> (with xfs format)

/swap ->                   -> (2x capacity of RAM u’re device)

/home ->                  -> (all capacity on HDD for System A.K.A sda)

all right, next step fill all capacity in other HDD as /Backup

/backup ->     500 Gb

now setting IP Configuration for Debian Server

#nano /etc/network/interfaces

please adjust in ur config (if me like this 😉 )

#auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static

address 192.168.0.147
gateway 192.168.0.1
netmask 255.255.255.0

well done, next step configuration ur DNS resolver

*write like this

#nano /etc/resolv.conf                                          (and fill like below, i’m using DNS google :D)

nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

and then optionally to change repository in Debian server

*write like this

#nano /etc/apt/sources.list                                                 (change as u plan or if u have no basic about this just view and follow default)
